IronLegs Challenge

The "IronLegs" Challenge

The "IronLegs Challenge" is an original event created by the St. Joseph Bike Festival to challenge even the most seasoned cyclist.  The challenge is comprised of three events and each participant has to complete 2 of the 3 to achieve the title of IRONLEGS!  The first event that every participant must complete is a metric century (62 miles) road ride throughout St. Joseph and surrounding communities.  This ride is fully supported with guides and checkpoint stations .  After that, IronLegs participants have a choice between the St. Joseph Hill challenge or a 26 mile mountain bike ride.  The St. Joseph Hill challenge is a road ride that takes riders up some of St. Josephs steepest city streets for about 15 miles of climbing fun.  The Mountain bike ride gives each rider an up close experience of our city's more than 26 miles of off road trail system.  If a rider can complete the challenge, they will be awarded the title of "IronLegs".  The IronLegs challenge has a fee of $20 that must be paid at the time of registration . Every rider who registers and completes the challenge will receive an award.
